The grammar of a key id: 1–64 characters of A-Z a-z 0-9 . _ -. It is written into every v2 hash (v2:hmac-sha256:<keyId>:<hex>), so : and whitespace are out, and it is kept short enough for a MySQL VARCHAR(191).
