Defined in: mcp/src/tools.ts:98

A route exposed to MCP. invoke runs it through the exact same request pipeline as HTTP.

invoke()

> invoke(args, ctx?): Promise<McpToolResult>

Defined in: mcp/src/tools.ts:102

Record<string, unknown>

ctx?

ToolCallContext

Returns

Promise<McpToolResult>

visible()

> visible(context): Promise<boolean>

Defined in: mcp/src/tools.ts:109

Whether a caller with this request context (ctx() of the listing request: user, tenant, …) should see the tool in tools/list. Pure — see isRouteVisible in @basaltkit/http for exactly what it checks. Never authorization: invoke runs the route's guards regardless.

Parameters
